A Milano tutto è possibile e ogni desiderio diventa realtà. Così, nella caotica e dinamica metropoli di chi lavora e progetta il proprio futuro 24 ore su 24, c’è anche chi insegue e concretizza sogni fatti di relax, intimità familiare e piccoli piaceri quotidiani. Il segreto è sapersi staccare dalla frenesia di tutti i giorni, trovando luogo e modalità ideali per rallentare i ritmi e assaporare affetti ed emozioni.
La ristrutturazione e l’innalzamento edilizio di un signorile palazzo in zona centrale hanno permesso la costruzione di un elegante e privato rifugio contemporaneo, incastonato tra i tetti. Organizzato su due piani, il settimo e l’ottavo, l’attico è diventato l’isola felice di una giovane coppia con figli che, affidatasi alla professionalità dell’architetto Michela Galbiati, abita una dimora creata a misura delle proprie aspettative.
Gli spazi sono stati definiti a progetto, quindi realizzati sulla base di un concept unico e avvolgente. Le tonalità chiare uniformano gli ambienti creando un’atmosfera leggera e delicata che si distende su ambedue i piani e lungo la scala interna, progettata ad hoc ed evidenziata da luminose barre a led.
La scala unisce la zona notte del piano inferiore alla zona giorno, proseguendo fino al soprastante terrazzo solarium da cui si gode di un’incantevole vista sullo skyline milanese, anche immersi nella piacevolissima piscina all’aperto.
L’area giorno si distribuisce in un arioso e luminoso open space, caratterizzato da candide travi a vista e da una raffinata e bassa boiserie che abbraccia lo spazio living. Le tonalità grigio chiaro degli arredi s’intonano al pavimento in resina e al piano di marmo con venature più scure che contorna l’isola della cucina.
Nel reparto notte l’omogeneità cromatica è ravvivata dalla carta da parati, i cui decori personalizzano più ambienti. La camera padronale comprende il bagno privato collegato a un’elegante cabina armadio con pareti e ante in vetro fumé.
Le camerette dei bambini si distinguono per i colori pastello e i letti a baldacchino e a forma di casetta: il rosa e l’azzurro si alternano in uno stile giocoso e fiabesco, inserendosi nel contesto moderno e romantico dell’intera dimora.

Chilling out under the sky of Milan
The renovation and the raising of a mansion house actualize an elegant penthouse with swimming pool and panoramic view over the rooftops of the city

In Milan, everything is possible and all your wishes come true. In this way, in the dynamic and chaotic big city belonging to those who work and plan their future 24 hours a day, there are also those who follow and realize their dreams made of relaxation, family warmth and small daily pleasures.
The key is being able to disconnect from the hustle of all days, finding ideal places and ways to slow down the pace and to taste emotions and feelings. The renovation and the raising of a mansion house in the central area allowed building an elegant and private contemporary shelter, nestled between roofs.
Placed over two levels — on the 7th and 8th floors —, the penthouse has become the happy place of a young couple with children — relying on Michela Galbiati’s professionalism — that lives in a tailor-made abode which fits their expectations. Spaces have been defined according to the project, therefore carried out on the basis of a captivating and unique concept.
The light shades make spaces uniform by creating a delicate and slight atmosphere that covers both floors and carries on along the internal staircase, tailor-designed and highlighted by bright LED bars. The staircase links the sleeping area on the lower level with the living area, continuing to the overhead sun terrace where you can enjoy an enchanting view on the Milan skyline, also while swimming in the delightful outdoor pool.
The living area is spread over a bright and airy open space, distinguished by pure white exposed wooden beams and by polished and low wainscoting, hugging the living space. The light grey shades match the resin flooring and the marble countertop with darker veins which surrounds the kitchen island.
In the sleeping area, the chromatic homogeneity is livened up by wallpaper whose motifs customize multiple environments. The master bedroom includes an en suite bathroom linked to an elegant walk-in closet with tinted glass walls and closet doors.
Children’s bedrooms are marked by pastel colours and a house-shaped canopy bed: pink and light blue alternate in a fairy-tale and playful style, blending in with the romantic and modern context of the whole abode.
