The soul of a project. The coexistence of multiple realities, inspirations and protagonists, viewed through the lens of a rediscovered authenticity. A single soul that touches many souls, creating affinities where differences coexist. All in the name of a genuine, rediscovered beauty, free even from the excessive alterations brought about by new technologies.
Hence the choice of a cover conceived as a splendid hymn to lightness, expressive freedom and an uncompromising “natural” space, in which the terms “soul” and “animal” rediscover a shared root. The artistic project “Animaux dans la Ville”, by Stefano Boeri and Andrea Branzi, which overturns the conventional anthropocentric perspective in favour of the natural coexistence of a plurality of living beings, aligns perfectly with the new mood of DENTROCASA: the idea of matching disciplines and subjects under a fresh, shared lens.
Similarly, in the cover image, the soul of the city is imbued with a plurality of presences. The perception of the city changes, and so does its identity… This strong sense of identity also serves as the ideal leitmotif for the features presented in this issue. To visually journey through these homes is, in fact, to trace their history, delving into the distinctive features of their locations.
