Imperfect shots, out of focus, even grainy. How much do we appreciate unfiltered images? There is a growing need for spontaneity, for getting straight to the point, for authentic messages. Perfection is not always synonymous with beauty; indeed, it is often the softer details – a lack of sharpness, imperfect focus, fleeting moments captured in their immediacy – that give a photograph its character. DENTROCASA favours expressions that remain true to direct experience.
For the cover of this issue, we have chosen one that encapsulates in a single click the entire DENTROCASA universe made up of interactions, connections, and cross-disciplinary approaches. The shots “captured” through the exterior glass façades at the recent Saint Laurent runway show in Paris speak our language, bringing together precisely the spheres of interest we hold dear: design, architecture, fashion and art. The effects of this constant exchange are clear: creatives can draw upon an extraordinary range of visual languages, blend different tools, and share their final vision.
In the meantime, the stage belongs to light, filtering persistently through glass surfaces and creating delightful duets with the landscape. And as nature becomes a living part of everyday life, amplifying a sense of harmony and wellbeing, our lens stands ready to capture the scene. Immediate, direct… without asking permission.
