A sequence of sky-blue sheets swaying in the breeze along a Venetian calle. Marea, the installation by New York artist Melissa McGill chosen for this issue’s cover, perfectly embodies the sense of Wonder that enchants, envelops and lingers in the air.
Wonder, as an expression of summer, is also the ideal guest star of the outdoor feature in these June pages; a free and entirely unconventional interpretation of outdoor living. Our selection shines a spotlight on contemporary stages: luxury hotels, exceptional destinations, leading furniture and décor brands, and signature design projects. A vibrant journey celebrating beauty across the globe. For DENTROCASA, Wonder is also, by definition, the Venice Biennale, inaugurated just a few weeks ago and featuring 110 participating artists.
Last but not least, our signature features, the beating heart of this magazine. This month, once again, we present eleven projects, spanning private residences and hotels. Spaces alive with light and style, increasingly opening their doors to the warmer season. The common thread? Wonder, needless to say.
