In this abode, the coatings bring to life new expressions and customise the environments with charming touches.

It looks as if it was dressed up for special occasions, but is not. It is always beautiful and elegant; it boasts seductive and modern upholstery that makes it exclusive and perfectly in line with what surrounds it. We are talking about a villa with contemporary architecture, large and open spaces, a garden that surrounds it and a swimming pool within reach and sight.

Yes, because through the large windows, from the living room you can quickly reach the porch, which in the summer becomes a comfortable continuation of the interior, and then you can dive into the revitalising body of water.

The owner, as well as the designer and the builder of the house itself, made precise decisions to turn this abode into the ideal space for his family. Although the system layout is important and accurate, what immediately catches the eye is the attention to finishes and coatings, strongly influenced by the selection of materials and colour combinations.

Personal tastes and skills have taken the field to make the whole project a combination of great elegance and comfort, thanks to the help of the owners, as well as thanks to the customisation carried out by Emmepi Ceramiche, whose company philosophy focuses on quality and on the continuous research of new and high-performance materials.

The surface of the large open space is harmonised by the refined geometries of the oak parquet boasting a Hungarian herringbone pattern, which highlights the wonderful natural grain of the wood and creates a dramatic effect of movement, enhanced by specific lighting.

From the warm elasticity of the wood that dominates the various areas of the living room, we move on to the scenographic staircase, with the cantilevered steps and the crystal handrail, to give the glance the pleasure of unhindered observation.

The built-in lighting of each step makes the staircase beautiful and sculptural, not a mere functional element. The fine and well-balanced furnishings perfectly match the background colours, while the double-sided fireplace lightens up the atmosphere and heats several areas.

In the sleeping quarters, we are fascinated by decorative elements, including the bathrooms and the wallpaper that covers the wall of the master bedroom.

One of the bathrooms boasts precious marble-effect ceramic, a refined material with golden veins that makes the environment elegant and enveloping. The other one does not go unnoticed, with the fabric-wallpaper effect porcelain coating with a floral pattern. All harmonised by the same oak parquet used in the living room.

Outdoor, the same attention was given to the covering of the flooring, with rough concrete effect porcelain tiles that consolidate a high-quality ceramic tradition, simultaneously dealing with the taste of the latest housing trends.
