The character of a house is the result of design choices that know how to combine the interior designer’s experience with the owners’ passions, dreams and wishes.

As soon as you get into this flat placed on the top floor of a newly-built building, the feeling is to be in a contemporary urban setting of an overseas city. A stylish loft, the place imagined and desired by a young couple with children.

FAR Arreda team explains: “We managed everything: from the arrangement of spaces to the interior furnishings, we tried to create a unique, modern, functional and family-friendly setting with coatings and geometric elements that result in a particular atmosphere”.

The ABCs of this house are materials and highly-tactile elements in shades of grey and black, with some white touches – the magnificent ceiling with exposed beams – and some surprising colour effects created by wallpaper.

The living area includes the living room, with a modern and big sofa together with a vintage carpet and a tailor-made equipped TV wall, but also the dining area with a resin table and the minimal kitchen with concrete-effect surfaces. The large island has a snack counter, perfect for cooking and enjoying conviviality.

FAR Arreda team explains: “The spatial composition was designed by taking into account the owners’ wish to share convivial moments with family and friends”. The high ceiling – with bleached exposed beams – gives light and a scenic design to the environment. Behind the sofa area, a desk creates a study/work corner.

The refined taste of the living area continues in the master bedroom too: a large round bed matches the wallpaper with Japanese-style designs.

The mirrored wall – hiding a wardrobe and a walk-in closet – amplifies and emphasizes the size of the room. Another particular element is the vanity table with a vintage reference, placed behind the bed.

The bathroom boasts highly-tactile elements too in the shower and the resin-coated walls.
