The charm and the beauty of Venice attract people from all over the world… And someone decides to carve out a small space in the famous lagoon, to make it their home.
The charm of Venice has also touched the owner of this flat, which covers three floors, with a terrace.
Maurizio Pellizzoni is the interior designer who took care of the project and followed all the renovation and furnishing works.
It was very important for the customer, where possible, to preserve the original features of the property; at the same time, she wanted a modern and welcoming home for herself, but also for her family and friends.
The most important room is undoubtedly the space dedicated to the living room/kitchen: thanks to the three large windows, the whole living area is flooded with natural light. The only remaining element is the structural column on the right of the kitchen, which was painted black. This resulted in an open space, a choice that completely changed the appearance of the entire flat.

In addition to the complications due to the necessary permits to create the desired layout, the real difficulty lies in coordinating the delivery logistics of materials and furnishings.
Maurizio Pellizzoni concludes: “It was a real pleasure to work in this city, and I am proud to add this project to my portfolio. During the renovation works, I followed the entire project and I found Venetian people very helpful, and above all, skilled in structural works.”
