The interior designer Claudio Zanettin, a famous collector with a gallery in Cortina, collaborated with the owners to renovate this penthouse, situated on the top floor of a chalet offering panoramic views of the Dolomites.

The penthouse, previously divided into small rooms, has now been transformed into an open-plan space with distinct yet contiguous areas: a living area, a dining area, and a study area, created by adding a mezzanine to the central section of the living room. This design choice enhances the light and airiness of what has effectively become the central hub of the apartment.

On the side of the living area, a large white stove attracts attention with its beautifully detailed design and excellent state of preservation.

Undoubtedly, the open-plan space with its light-filled openings and unique features contrasts with the more private areas: the master bedroom, bathrooms, and kitchen, which are designed for relaxation and comfort. The apartment has been reconstructed with respect for the local tradition, yet reinterpreted in a contemporary style
