A singular character and essential lines merge in these interiors, where the details evoke delicate childhood memories
We are in Gdańsk, on the Baltic Sea, in a quiet neighbourhood of detached houses with highly varied architectural styles. The home in question is a true manifesto of design. The clients provided a clear brief to the IFA Group team, who handled the architectural planning: an open space combining kitchen, dining, and living areas.

The spaces needed to be fluid and interconnected, without indulging in superfluous square metres. In the dining area, a large table was essential, alongside a multifunctional zone for study and play. The windows were designed as if they were authentic framed paintings, avoiding an excess of large panes of glass.
Natural materials and colours characterise all the interiors. Recycled wooden blocks were used for the ground-floor ceiling and fencing. The exposed, raw ceiling has become a defining feature of the living spaces.
In this project, the windows modulate the light and frame the landscape. Some are positioned high to capture views of the sky, while others are placed low to embrace the surrounding nature.

The interiors are enriched with artworks from the owners’ private collection. The building’s structural logic blends with the emotional warmth of the owners’ personal imprint, making the interiors unique and imbued with genuine character.
