Between greenery and panoramic views, a bespoke interior design project redefines contemporary living with fluid spaces, conviviality, and cohousing services
On the hills surrounding Turin, nestled between the Villa della Regina and Monte dei Cappuccini, Uptown Torino comes to life: a refined transformation of the historic De La Salle order building of Villa San Giuseppe.
The residential complex, spread over four floors, integrates shared facilities – ranging from the football pitch and padel courts to the gym and shared garden – fully embracing the philosophy of cohousing.

The interior design project, created by B-Lab Studio under the direction of architect Daniela Rista, focuses on tailored solutions and flexible spaces capable of adapting to the different moments of daily life.
The owners’ great passion for cooking and wine guides the entire concept: the living area unfolds as one large convivial scene, designed to encourage gatherings, hospitality, and sharing.
An oak parquet floor, laid in a French herringbone pattern and already present in the building, becomes the aesthetic thread running throughout the apartment. The large windows enhance the natural light, which is harmonised with a carefully studied lighting design by Occhio Lighting, elegantly integrated into the false ceiling.

By applying a unified design language throughout the home, the result is a harmonious, consistent, and contemporary space. A home designed to be lived in intensively, capable of welcoming elegantly and telling the story, through lines, lights, and materials, of the people who inhabit it.
