An essential, bespoke interior design project redefines the concept of a second home, enhancing the landscape
Suspended between sky and water, a villa on Lake Garda is renewed with balance and poetry through the interior design project by Silvia Andreassi. Conceived as a second home for a family who value beauty and a close relationship with nature, the residence engages in a constant dialogue with the surrounding landscape: every room opens onto breathtaking views, with the lake acting as both frame and protagonist.

The mood is modern and essential, carefully tailored to enhance materials and volumes without weighing them down. Guided by passion and a strong synergy with the clients, the designer’s approach favoured bespoke solutions: all the boiserie and furnishings were custom-designed and tailor-made, seamlessly blending aesthetics and functionality. The result is a cohesive interior where minimalism takes on a warm, distinctive character.
The swimming pool was designed with a sense of proximity in mind: positioned directly next to the house, at the edge of the portico, it is easily accessible – also conceived for children – and from certain viewpoints appears to extend into the lake itself. This visual continuity amplifies the feeling of living immersed in the landscape.

The colour palette favours natural tones paired with textured surfaces and handcrafted finishes that personalise the spaces and convey a sense of calm. Lighting, designed in layers, modulates the atmosphere while highlighting textures and architectural elements. Every material choice, from finishes to fabrics, is selected for durability and to express the project’s exclusive craftsmanship.
