Hidden among the hills of the Ligurian hinterland, this house appears as both a light and decisive presence: a building conceived like the deck of a ship, where concrete, stone and glass come together in an essential balance. It does not dominate the landscape, but seems to have always been part of it, almost as if it had emerged from the ground in order to remain in quiet dialogue with its surroundings.

It is precisely here, accompanied by the homeowner, that one discovers a rigorous yet never ostentatious architecture, set on a terraced plot among olive trees and cacti, perfectly attuned to its natural context. A precise choice, intended to leave room for the true centre of the scene: the view, running uninterrupted from the hills down to the sea.

The large floor-to-ceiling windows on three sides of the upper level, custom-designed, amplify this sense of continuity and dissolve the boundary between inside and outside. The living room floor and the adjacent terrace appear to share the same breath, offering the viewer a rare, intense and deeply restorative experience.
