A project in which every piece of furniture and every work of art contributes to an elegant and deeply personal narrative
This 300-square-metre private residence, set within a lush garden, was designed by renowned Russian interior designer Anna Erman for a young entrepreneur and passionate art collector. Conceived as a cohesive, highly distinctive whole, the interiors express a clear authorial vision, built around antiques and works of art.
Today, the owners’ daily life unfolds entirely on the ground floor, which accommodates the living room, kitchen, bedroom, main bathroom, dressing room, entrance hall, guest bathroom, and utility room.
The first floor, by contrast, houses a study, a guest bedroom with generous built-in storage, and a spacious bathroom. Every window frames views of the surrounding woodland.
The architectural design creates a sequence of calm, light-filled interiors in continuous dialogue with the surrounding greenery. Large windows, complemented by classically styled shutters, flood the rooms with natural light, softening the palette of pale tones while highlighting the rich textures of weathered timber, stone, and fabrics.
The result is an exceptionally refined interior, where historic pieces and bespoke interventions coexist in perfect harmony, telling countless different stories while remaining consistently captivating.
