THE HOUSE OF THE ARTISTS

A noble Tuscan villa has been renovated according to the philosophy of “quiet luxury”

In Riparbella, in the Maremma area of Pisa, an aristocratic villa dating back to the 18th century has been fully renovated with a contemporary design approach. The result is a harmonious fusion of the warmth of traditional Tuscan elements – stone, brick and exposed beams – with the elegance and refinement of contemporary design and artistic features.

The project, commissioned by the new owners, was developed in collaboration with Studio Spagnuolo of Milan, while the furnishings were selected with Mohd. The residence extends over approximately 700 square metres across two floors.

The villa is surrounded by six hectares of vineyard cultivated using biodynamic methods, an olive grove, and ten hectares of woodland. The earliest historical references to “Villa Albae”, the white villa, date back to the 12th century.

The guiding concept is that of discreet luxury, rooted in harmony and hospitality. The residence also hosts art exhibitions, becoming a home for artists who arrive in the village each year for the festival “La Collina delle Fiabe”, promoted by StArt Attitude and curated by Gianguido Grassi.
