Olympic Spa Hotel shares the teachings of nature and the traditions of the Fassa Valley with its guests
The Olympic SPA Hotel is a four-star superior structure that stands in the Fassa Valley, one of the main Ladin valleys of the north-eastern part of Trentino, surrounded by spectacular landscapes and iconic mountains such as the Sella group, the Rosengarten group, the Langkofel, and the Marmolada.
Created in 1963 as a hotel garni owned by the Pellegrin family, over the years, it has been expanded and renovated thanks to architects and local workers, respectively for the design and planning part, also equipping it with a spa.
The hotel complex, all wood and windows, is located at the edge of the forest of San Giovanni di Fassa: it smells of Swiss pine, is furnished with several elements that draw from the Ladin tradition – as historical photographs and authentic vintage sleighs –, and is decorated with such good taste. Last year, it received the prestigious 2024 TopID Award with the Noa architecture studio for the new “Natural Suites” project.

Each design element is dedicated to comfort: from the “Relaxation Bubble” – a geodesic dome of 18 square metres with chaise longues, warm furs, and wool blankets to encourage heat during the winter –, to the sauna hanging between the trees, a real corner of paradise.
The owner Manuela Pellegrin explained: “We like to make our guests feel good and to do this, we are inspired by the teachings of naturehood. Balance stands for well-being, peace, and serenity. We don’t want to stop dreaming of a better hotel, and this is why we like the idea of exploring and experimenting with the best of our uniqueness, by drawing ideas from the place we live.”
