Between vineyards and design: a charming retreat and a signature winery

Godiluva is an emblematic name, inviting one to live fully – with joy and without any traces of melancholy – in the new spectacular wine resort. Yet above all, it is a celebration of the fruit of the vine and human labour. It spans twenty-six cultivated hectares, featuring a modern winery and a tasting room with views over the barrel room and the surrounding landscape, admired through wide, light-filled windows. The estate is nestled in serene seclusion and unfolds across the rolling hills of Tuscany’s Val di Chiana, where cypress-lined terraces mingle with native rows of Sangiovese and Montepulciano vines.
Godiluva, the estate owned by Giovanni Bulgari, heir to the renowned family of jewellers, is located in Palazzone, a short distance from San Casciano dei Bagni, at the foot of Monte Cetona and bordering Umbria and Lazio.
Spread over three levels, this refined country house is steeped in history and art, adorned with paintings, sculptures, and ceramics such as Giuseppe Ducrot’s decorative vases.

The spaces are furnished with a curated selection of furniture, artworks, and accessories that reflect an original aesthetic vision, characterised by soft tones and distinctive details. Together with the Podernuovo winery, designed by Alvisi Kirimoto & Partners, Godiluva embodies a unique combination of contemporary style and tradition.
This luxury country house offers five double bedrooms, three with a living area and one with a private terrace. Hospitality is further enhanced by a spa with sauna and gym, a magnesium and potassium saltwater pool, and a wood-heated Skargards Swedish tub with hydro-massage.
Godiluva is a lush, green paradise, complemented by the nearby winery glowing in the warm tones of Sienna, where geothermal energy is elegantly harnessed as a natural source of power.
