Il padre è un architetto, collezionista di orologi. La figlia si chiama Ginevra, proprio come la capitale svizzera. È ispirata a una storia famigliare l’identità di Ginevra Rooms, boutique hotel situato nel cuore di Bergamo in piazza Repubblica, in una posizione strategica a due passi da tutto. A raccontarlo è Leila, mamma di Ginevra e proprietaria dell’immobile, l’ex studio di architettura del padre che è stato trasformato in un’originale struttura ricettiva ispirata agli orologi più famosi al mondo.

Rolex, Cartier, Patek, Vacheron ogni stanza è dedicata a un orologio e si contraddistingue per l’arredo curato, la particolarità delle finiture e l’accoglienza, tanto da sentirsi contemporaneamente in hotel e a casa propria. Seguendo l’idea dei proprietari e assecondando l’identità del progetto a curare l’interior design è stato il team di Porcelanosa. “Si è scelto di dare un carattere, un tema diverso a ogni stanza. Una room ha due letti matrimoniali, altre due hanno un letto singolo oltre al matrimoniale.

In un’altra stanza troviamo invece la vasca da bagno”. Eleganza, comfort e funzionalità caratterizzano gli ambienti di Ginevra Rooms. Per le superfici in una delle stanze è stato mantenuto il parquet originale dello studio di architettura, mentre per le altre è stato scelto lo stile Porcelanosa, una pavimentazione in gres porcellanato effetto legno. Il team di Porcelanosa ha fornito sanitari, rubinetterie e mobili dei bagni inclusa anche la vasca e i cristalli doccia.

Per i lavabi è stato utilizzato il prodotto Krion, materiale composto da minerale naturale legato con della resina, antibatterico, facilmente rinnovabile. Porcelanosa ha seguito anche la fornitura di comodini, poltroncine e arredi. “È stata molto interessante la collaborazione con il cliente nelle fasi della scelta. Grazie alla disponibilità e fiducia che ci sono state concesse siamo riusciti a realizzare un’ambientazione elegante, moderna e di grande gusto, aspetti che vengono confermati anche dalle recensioni ottenute da questa struttura”.

Inspired by the images of the most famous watches, a boutique hotel in the heart of Bergamo to live a unique experience.

The father is an architect, a collector of watches. The daughter is called Ginevra – the Italian version of Geneva –, as well as the Swiss capital city. The identity of Ginevra Rooms is inspired by a family history: a boutique hotel placed in the heart of Bergamo, in Piazza Repubblica, a strategic position around the corner from everything. Leila tells us the story: she’s Ginevra’s mom and the owner of the building that is Ginevra’s father former architecture studio which has been turned into an original accommodation, inspired by the most famous watches in the world.

Rolex, Cartier, Patek, Vacheron: each room is dedicated to a specific watch and distinguished by well-finished furniture, particular finishing touches and hospitality, enough to feel simultaneously in a hotel and at home. The interior design project has been handled by Porcelanosa’s team, by following the owner’s idea and by supporting the identity of the project itself. “It has been chosen to give an attitude, a different topic and look to each room. One offers two double beds; two rooms have a single bed, in addition to a double one. In another one, there’s a bathtub”. Elegance, functionality and comfort typify the spaces of Ginevra Rooms. Surfaces: in one of the rooms, the architecture studio kept the original wood flooring while in the other rooms the “Porcelanosa style” has been chosen with wood-effect stoneware tiles.

Porcelanosa’s team has provided bathroom fixtures, furniture, taps and fittings, including bathtub and shower stalls too. An antibacterial material originating from natural minerals, bonded using resin and easy to repair – known as Krion – has been chosen for sinks. Porcelanosa was responsible for the supply of furniture, armchairs and night tables too. “The partnership with customers during the selection stage has been highly interesting. Thanks to the openness and confidence we have been given, Porcelanosa has been able to create an elegant and modern space of exquisite taste; these aspects are also confirmed by the feedbacks received by the accommodation itself”.
