Mantana, piccolo centro dell’Alta Pusteria, distante una trentina di chilometri dal lago di Braies, è il set naturale dove dal 2011 viene girata la serie televisiva per Rai Uno “A un passo dal cielo”.

Proprio qui, in questo paesino silenzioso e sospeso fra i pascoli verdi e il limitare dei boschi, sorge, da luglio 2018, un gioiello architettonico contemporaneo fra i più belli mai realizzati finora in integrazione col paesaggio altoatesino.

Si chiama Purmontes, è di proprietà della famiglia Winkler e si presenta come un complesso elitario di cinque chalet-suites originali ed esclusivi, ciascuno con una infinity pool privata, una spaziosa terrazza, giardino e camino. C’è perfino il paddock con il maneggio privato dove gli ospiti possono portare i propri cavalli.

Il progetto porta la firma dell’architetto Stefan Gamper di Chiusa, che si è ispirato alla filosofia della grande architettura dei paesi nordici ed è costato, a conti fatti, circa 6,5 milioni di euro. L’essenziale fisionomia alpina è sapientemente combinata con la tradizione e resa immediatamente riconoscibile per l’utilizzo di legno di larice, di pietra granitica e di lana pregiata impiegata per l’arredo degli interni, in un’armonia di elementi e complementi che, entrando in dialogo con l’illuminazione di design e le slanciate vetrate, si fa inno alle forme contemporanee in traboccante osmosi con la natura.

Il Purmontes può dirsi un nuovo concept ricettivo, un modo inedito di intendere l’esperienza di soggiorno esclusivo in Alto Adige accolti dall’abbraccio dell’architettura sostenibile, circondati solo da materiali green e dal paesaggio di provenienza.

Gli spazi comuni comprendono la grande hall al primo livello, un salotto biblioteca dedicato al relax e la spa panoramica che è come un loft all’ultimo piano. C’è anche una lounge di charme dove accomodarsi e contemplare il lusso discreto che scandisce gli ambienti, senza sfociare mai nell’opulenza.

Mantana – a small village of the Hochpustertal 30 km down from The Pragser Wildsee –, is the natural setting where in 2011 the TV series “One step from heaven” for Rai 1 has been shot.

In this silent small village, hanging out of the boundary of forests and green pastures, this architectural and contemporary gem – among the most beautiful ones integrated into the landscape of Alto Adige, ever created up until now – has been developed right here since July 2018. Its name is Purmontes, owned by the Winkler family; it comes as a highbrow complex with five original and exclusive chalet-suites, each with its private infinity pool, a spacious terrace, garden and fireplace. There’s even the paddock with private stables where guests can bring their own horses.

The project is signed by architect Stefan Gamper from Chiusa, who has been inspired by the philosophy of the great architecture used in the Nordic countries and its overall cost – on balance – has been around € 7.5 million.

Its Alpine and essential appearance has been wisely combined with tradition and it is immediately recognizable thanks to the use of larch wood, granite stone and highly valuable wool for the interior design, creating an harmony of elements and accessories that – by dialoguing with the design lighting system and the slender glass windows – exalts contemporary shapes in an overflowing osmosis with nature.

The Purmontes says of itself that it represents a new accommodating concept, an unprecedented way to understand the exclusive experience of your stay in Alto Adige, embraced by eco-friendly architectures and surrounded by green materials only together with the landscape of origin.

Common areas include the large lobby on the first floor, a library/living room dedicated to relaxation and the panoramic beauty spa acting like a penthouse on the top floor.
