Il desiderio di un rapporto privilegiato con il mare è racchiuso nel nome di questo inedito scafo firmato Benetti: Seasense.
Il superyacht full custom di 67 metri è stato costruito con scafo in acciaio e sovrastruttura in alluminio dal cantiere Benetti a Livorno per un esperto armatore che ha scelto per la prima volta questo brand. Una scelta dettata dalla garanzia di avere un’imbarcazione nella quale, insieme all’estetica, anche la tecnica costruttiva sia all’insegna della massima qualità.
Le eleganti e originali linee esterne di Seasense sono state create dal designer olandese Cor D. Rover, alla sua prima collaborazione con Benetti, che con questo progetto mostra il suo personalissimo tocco attraverso le alte e strette finestrature lungo la murata, ma soprattutto concretizzando quello che egli stesso chiama “Benetti beach club” concept, a caratterizzare fortemente tutto il progetto.
A poppa del main deck si trova, infatti, una sorprendente piscina di 10×4 metri, con ampia zona prendisole che può trasformarsi in un ponte libero utilizzabile come campo da basket con tanto di canestro.
Una volta saliti a bordo, i colori – che richiamano il mare nelle sue differenti gradazioni di blu, con tocchi estrosi di rosso, grigio e bianco – avvolgono in una atmosfera fresca e contemporanea: un gioco di contrasti che si ripete in ogni area senza mai risultare uguale.
Proseguendo a poppavia sulla destra, si incontra la cabina VIP, dotata di cabina armadio, postazione vanity e bagno en-suite. Verso prua si trova la master cabin, la cui principale caratteristica è l’altezza del cielino che nella parte cen-trale supera i 300 cm. Sul lower deck si trovano le quattro cabine ospiti, due con letto matrimoniale e due a letti gemelli con struttura scorrevole per poterli unire.
Sull’upper deck, oltre alla plancia di comando e alla cabina del comandante, si trova un secondo salone, una zona più formale rispetto a quella del ponte principale suddivisa a sua volta in salotto, angolo office e libreria.
La zona pranzo è racchiusa in una veranda circolare con tavolo per 12 persone, che volendo può essere separata dalla zona conversazione da un’elegante tenda. Sul sun deck protagonista indiscussa è l’ampia e fornita Gym coperta, direttamente collegata con l’area relax con Jacuzzi e prendisole e con una riservata zona conversazione con divanetti, bar all’americana e forno a legna per la pizza.
Seasense mantiene una configurazione classica, con scafo dislocante e motorizzazione da 2 Caterpillar da 1380 kW ciascuno di potenza. Grazie a questa configurazione, può raggiungere una velocità massima di 15,5 nodi.
L’autonomia è di 5.000 miglia nautiche alla velocità di 12 nodi. Seasense si serve di un sistema di pinne stabilizzatrici che consente di ridurre sensibilmente il rollio provocato dai moti ondosi, sia all’ancora che durante la navigazione.

A 67-meter custom yacht with exteriors designed to offer an all-embracing relationship with the sea
The desire to enter into a special relationship with the sea is embodied in the name of this unprecedented yacht by Benetti: Seasense. A 67-meter full custom super yacht with a steel hull and an aluminum superstructure, built in the Livorno shipyard for an expert owner who has chosen the Benetti brand for the first time.
Seasense’s elegant and original exteriors have been created by Dutch designer Cor D. Rover – working for the first time with Benetti –, who brings to this project his own personal touch in the form of the high and narrow side windows but – most importantly – by realizing what the designer calls his “Benetti beach club” concept which strongly defines the whole project.
Aft on the main deck, there is a surprising 10x4m swimming pool with a large sunbathing area: it can turn into a free deck space that can be used as a basketball court, with a basket too.
Once on board, colours – that call to mind the sea with its different shades of blue and spectacular touches of red, grey or white – embrace guests in a fresh and contemporary atmosphere that plays on contrasts reprised throughout the yacht but without any sense of repetition.
Continuing towards the stern, the VIP cabin fitted with a walk-in wardrobe is placed on the right. Further forward on this deck, there is the master cabin whose main feature is the height of the ceiling, which exceeds 300 cm in the central section. On the lower deck, there are four guest cabins: two with double beds and two boasting twin beds.
On the upper deck – in addition to the helm station and the captain’s cabin –, there are a living room, an office and a bookcase area plus a dining space in a circular veranda with a table for 12 people that can be separated from the conversation area, thanks to an elegant curtain.
The undisputed star attraction on the sun deck is undoubtedly the large, fully-equipped and covered gym which has direct access to the relaxation area with a Jacuzzi and sun beds, as well as to a secluded conversation area furnished with sofas, an American bar and a wood-burning pizza oven.
Seasense has a classic approach with a displacement hull powered by two Caterpillar engines delivering 1,380 kW each. Seasense has a top speed of 15.5 knots with a range of 5,000 nautical miles at a speed of 12 knots.
