At the foot of the hill, everyday life contemplates nature and elegantly enjoys the comfortable beauty of modernity.
A young couple full of life, with a lot of joyful and intense dreams. Among these is the desire to find the perfect retreat to live everyday life together, the life they are building as a couple and as a family that one day will grow, getting completed and welcoming a new life.
Finding a home isn’t always easy if you consider several aspects: the location, inside, outside, comfort… So many things, all important and not always achievable.
But in this case, it was love at first sight! Both owners immediately loved the location at the foot of the hill with nature in the background, which can be enjoyed from the large terrace and the transparent glass windows that blur the line between inside and outside, with natural light that makes the volumes plastic and bright.

The recently-built flat is part of an elegant residence and is completely independent.
The piano nobile is accessed from the ground floor via a wooden staircase or by the dedicated lift that directly opens onto the living room: a beautiful open space overlooking the terrace and the hill.
Even if the initial idea of the couple was to stick to light colours with predominantly white furnishings, now the imprint is of a completely different nuance.
The most current and boldest variant of the interior design was suggested by the proven ability of architect Mirko Varischi, in collaboration with architect Valentina Cortesi; together, they have defined this mood, greatly appreciated by the owners, who gladly took up the suggestion.

A style dominated by dark colours that happily vibrate with their tastes, making them feel wrapped up and pampered in an atmosphere studied in every detail. The kitchen has a strong personality and elegantly stands out next to the dining space, both with an intense shade that immediately fades with the clay-coloured island, and further on, in the relaxation area, with lighter and more relaxing nuances that are perfect for the context.
From the soft sofa, but also from the kitchen and the table, you can enjoy the TV set in a custom-designed and tailor-made partition that also acts as a filter between the staircase and the living room.
Next to the kitchen, a glass box encloses the wine cellar, which gives evidence of the owners’ passion, thus becoming a modern and elegant plus, as well as being a functional space.

A short hallway leads to the rooms, including the master bedroom with a walk-in closet and en-suite. Oak parquet flooring covers the whole house, adding warmth to environments that are already very enveloping, despite the modernity and essentiality of the lines.
The same can be said of the lighting system, played on multiple light sources that identify the various areas, making them suggestive or extra bright, according to the needs.
To create a cocoon-like atmosphere, the environments are “caressed” by the generous and modern curtains, made up of a double sheet: a transparent white layer, topped with a darker and slightly iridescent one, useful when you want a more shaded interior.
Everywhere, the atmosphere is soft and enveloping; it inhabits this interior project with ease, giving character to the space and turning everyday life into a realm of personal emotions.
