In its presence

On the Brescia shore of Lake Garda, a newly-built villa overlooks the panorama and fits into the landscape, bathed in light and atmosphere.

It is a natural setting which, sought-after and dear, becomes an integral part of daily living and life on the lake. An essential framework that influences the structural features of the homes that overlook it, so that it can be admired from every side and perspective.

This is what also happened in the construction of a new villa on the side of the hill that welcomes Toscolano Maderno, a small lakeside municipality on the Brescia shore. A single villa built on two floors and extended onto several external terraces; uphill, it is set in the rock, downhill, it opens directly onto the landscape.

A retreat flooded with light which, even in the interior design – managed and defined by Casa & Giardino’s interior designer staff – did not compromise with the surrounding landscape beauty.

The airy living area, organized as an open space and divided into environments by modern and matching furniture. The working area of the kitchen, located behind the large living room, offers an unhindered view of the convivial areas, framed by the double-sided sofa in the living room and the table in the dining area. Then, the gaze goes beyond the windows and expands into the depth of the terrace, it climbs over the invisible glass parapet and then dives into the immensity of the landscape…

On the one hand, the bedrooms – together with their en-suite bathroom – stand out for their minimal and tailor-made furnishings; on the other, they are undoubtedly marked by the continuous dialogue with the outside through the wall-to-wall windows.

To conclude, direct contact with nature leads to the upper terrace of the garden where, in a secluded and privileged position, there is an inviting and crystal-clear swimming pool.
