Bonomelli Arredamenti took care of this bold and refined project, with a unique character.
In the province of Bergamo, this villa built from scratch offers modern architecture, in perfect dialogue with the surrounding nature. The artistic direction was followed by architect Mirko Varischi; he also contributed to the interior design, together with Bonomelli Arredamenti, which also developed the interior furnishings.
Attention to the taste and needs of the customers – a young couple – was a prerogative to make this work unique.
The structure is surrounded by a large garden with an infinity pool; it covers a single floor plus a basement with a garage, a sauna, and a wine cellar. By entering the living area, you are struck by the light that seeps in from the large windows and irradiates every detail.
The selected shades are inspired by nature, while retaining bolder and more decisive touches of colour, ranging from black to brown to teal.
The modular sofa overlooks a console table that, in its compositional play, creates continuity with the window. The double-sided fireplace in frosted glass, designed by architect Varischi, is striking; it separates the living room from the dining room, giving an immediate feeling of warmth.
The kitchen, covered in brown wood and black Marquinia stoneware with white veins, has a defined aesthetic. The floor-to-ceiling display cabinet, with double-sided smoked glass lit from within, is a noteworthy piece of design created specifically by Bonomelli Arredamenti to separate the areas with style while allowing a glimpse of the kitchen.
Entering the sleeping area, the master bedroom vibrates with a sparkling and, at the same time, soft energy. Behind the headboard of the bed a niche in the central part and a hidden door that leads to the walk-in closet. From here, you enter the private bathroom, entirely based on a design by architect Varischi, and custom-made with a stoneware single piece, resulting in a double-sided structure.
