Original and customized interior solutions – with an international industrial style and an increasingly contemporary taste – permeate an elegant penthouse, overlooking the Gulf of La Spezia.
A flat overlooking the sea, a dream that comes true on the Ligurian coast, facing the Gulf of La Spezia: a newly-built penthouse becomes the home of a family in love with the sea and enchanted by the surrounding landscape.
This is how the interior design of the flat displayed on these pages came to life, managed by MM Interni’s interior designers, in collaboration with architect Francesca Galletto.
Set in a privileged position, the house is spread over two levels and has a large terrace: the landscape is an essential element, and the splendid view overlooking the sea constantly pushes the gaze beyond the horizon, and beyond things.

In this context, even the professionals have gone beyond “the usual design horizons”, by adopting new and customized solutions, with an international industrial style, more and more contemporary.
The light-flooded penthouse welcomes dark furnishings and light finishes; it plays with contrasts and enhances the chromatic balance between black, grey and warm shades of wood.
The result is a language that carefully blends colours and materials, by ensuring a tailored, current and matching product, fully meeting the customers’ needs.

In particular, the living area – bordered by the large windows that connect it to the spacious terrace with a swimming pool – includes a large kitchen area and the living room.
The kitchen is marked by the linearity and essentiality of the black island and the wall composition, while the living room is distinguished by the rigorous compositional geometries of the wall and the volume of the fireplace, entirely covered in COR-TEN steel and designed by the architect.
In both areas, black is the shade that dominates: the chairs and the dining table and black, the same goes for the leather sofa, and so is the TV cabinet.
At the same time, the dark colours of COR-TEN steel customize the nearby staircase, which leads to the sleeping area.

Upstairs, however, grey prevails: this more delicate shade mainly colours the master areas, not only the walls of the bedroom but also part of the stone cladding in the bathroom.
To underline and highlight the incomparable style of each room and each setting, the walls boast elegant repositionable LED bars and well-designed paths of light in the false ceilings.
