ANCORA HOTEL

The historic hotel is reborn through the vision of Renzo Rosso

Following a meticulous process of restoration and reinterpretation, Ancora officially reopened its doors in June 2025. First established in 1826 and long regarded as a symbol of Cortina’s hospitality tradition, the hotel has now been given new life thanks to the creative vision of Renzo Rosso.

At the heart of the project lies the vision of the OTB Group founder, who imagined Ancora as more than just a hotel: a place where every detail expresses the balance between creative energy and design sensibility, all with a distinctive stylistic signature.

The interior design project was entrusted to Charles & Co., the studio led by Vicky Charles, former design director at Soho House. The 38 rooms, divided into seven categories, are each unique. Every space has its own defined identity, with curated details, refined objects, and a palette of colours and materials that evoke the surrounding landscape.

Far from the conventional codes of hospitality, Ancora Cortina is designed for those in search of character, identity, and a constant dialogue with the landscape and the history that surrounds it.
