A residence surrounded by greenery has been renovated in the name of elegance and timeless luxury
Elegant residences and interiors sometimes do not age as quickly as modern ones, which occasionally nod to passing fashions. This is what we can admire in this beautiful villa, in a quiet neighbourhood at the gates of Warsaw.
Designed by architect Zbigniew Orliński, it was built about 25 years ago on the model of a typical Polish manor house. The designer Ewa Kanach was involved in the general renovation of the architectural complex.

The main building is surrounded by a garden with lush vegetation, featuring flowers and avenues, bridges and pergolas, gazebos and benches, a fountain, and sculptures.
The designer, in agreement with the owners, decided to leave some furnishings from the previous project, giving a new look to all the rooms and reviving the colours of the interior.

Ewa thus proposed a radical change: all the windows, doors, stairs and wainscoting on the stairs were white, while the parquet floors, the steps of the stairs and the handrail – after being sanded – were left in the shade of natural wood. The house thus became much brighter.

The most interesting aspect was the interaction between the clients and the designer; since the beginning of the work, they have found a common language, and their collaboration is ongoing.
