A makeover full of charm and modernity, where customization dictates the guidelines to make every corner of the house beautiful and personal.
Monte Carlo – a city-state of the Principality of Monaco, with a sparkling charm and enchanting climate all year round – hosts this fascinating flat in its urban fabric, fresh off a complete renovation by Studio Donizelli, overlooking the harbour with its luxurious yachts that dot the blue sea.
In order to add a masterful touch to this project, Studio Erre tailored the interiors with custom-made furnishings, characterized by their usual attention to details. A tailor-made style, therefore, starts from this concept: customization. An intelligent way to optimize space and make your home not only beautiful to look at but, above all, comfortable to live in.
A special thanks to the owner, who took part in the furniture project with great commitment and attention, personally choosing details and accessories.
Already at the entrance, hospitality gives its best with a curved wall, which simulates a hug for those who enter, entirely made of lacquered wood and embellished with a kind of totem with integrated lighting and curvilinear shelves, acting as glove compartments and giving a feeling of movement like small waves.
Next to it, two flush-wall doors hide a hallway and a technical compartment. The background colours contrast with the pure white of the walls and the black resin that evens out the flooring. This is an elegant and perfect combination to accommodate modern furnishings with clean and minimal lines in the living room, highlighted by the ceilings, defined by perimeter frames with bright recesses.
The living room is a hymn to relaxation: the comfortable sofa by Edra has soft lines that match with the velvety petals of the armchairs, also by Edra, adding a colour accent and a chic touch to the environment.
The whole living area is full of designer accessories, particularly appreciated by the owner, such as the original suspended TV cabinet with crumpled polished steel doors, and the bookcase with polished steel rings and smoked glass shelves.
The wall that stands behind the sofa separates the dining area and the kitchen thanks to a double glass door, to enjoy the view and to give a feeling of depth.
In the sleeping area, the mood is the same: elegance, comfort and partly tailor-made furniture to fit at best these private spaces, making them not only beautiful but also as functional as possible.
The walk-in closet was completely designed by Studio Erre: thanks to its transparency and lightness, it perfectly matches the context, as if it were a decorative element.
