Design, creativity, and beauty: the perfect ingredients for contemporary life in this charming flat, tailored to a young man.

“A room should never allow the eye to settle in one place. It should smile at you and create fantasy.”

This is how every house built accordingly to a good interior design project should welcome us. Stating this is Juan Montoya, the well-known Colombian interior designer recognized for his style, where contemporary minimalism interacts with eclectic and original elements.

Just as the quote says, the atmosphere is sparkling and creative in this flat, tailored bySquassabia’s interior designers.

Agnese Squassabia explained: “This house was built for a young man, with all necessary for contemporary life. We took care of everything: from the arrangement of spaces to the lighting design, from the decorations to the supply of design furnishing accessories, in the name of contemporaneity and innovation.”

The house welcomes us with an enveloping living area, which boasts a dining area, an amazing Valcucine kitchen and a sitting room.

The decorative elements – such as the wallpaper –, the selection of particular design pieces that decorate the rooms, the choice of natural finishes and the light sculptures on the ceiling create an overall harmony that fascinates and involves.

Although it is a very contemporary house, it gives a very pleasant feeling, both in the living area and in the sleeping area, also thanks to the warm tones, the decorative elements and the doors/walls that define the rooms of the abode, without giving a feeling of constriction.

In the living room, the GranTorino sofa by Poltrona Frau matches with a set of coffee tables by Gallotti & Radice and a soft carpet. The Flat C wall bookcase by B&B Italia – which separates and join the dining area from the living room – is also very scenic.

Here, the kitchen is elegantly combined with a Lago table, and the environment benefits from the natural light of the outdoor patio.

The rhythm and the harmony that distinguish the living area permeate also the sleeping area: on the wall behind the bed, there is a beautiful and tailored wallpaper inspired by the themes of nature, which makes the room truly unique and special.

Here too, the lighting elements, the contemporary sculptures by Davide Groppi, and the design furniture by Lago create original geometries, giving personality and poetry to the environments.
