Tactile marks

This house finds its perfect synthesis in a customized and tactile interior project, where the combination of light and dark perfectly dialogues with all the environments.

At the feet of Val Cavallina this house – belonging to a young couple – stands, built from scratch by Bonomelli Arredamenti, which manages both the interior design and the choice of furnishings.

The house develops on two levels: the living area covers the first floor, but there is also a basement level with a garage.

Upon entering, you are struck by the compositional refinement of the structural parts and furnishings, which embrace a natural and modern style. The colour contrasts are superlative and play with the dualism of light and dark, thus creating balance.

There are several contaminations of natural oak wood: they stand out in the living room and in some details of the kitchen, which instil a bright and enveloping atmosphere. The TV wall in narrow slatted wood – custom-made as a retractable storage unit – overlooks the sofa and the dining table, with an essential and modern design.

The same texture is also used on the island, with an addition of black veined stoneware that covers the hob and matches the dark wall of the kitchen, with an eye-catching and bold style. The panoramic window overlooking the garden and the large windows let a bewitching light seep in, enhancing the position of each element.

Three steps separate the living area from the sleeping area, where we find the double bedroom with a bathroom and walk-in closet. The wall of the double bedroom – tailor-made and covered in oak – conveys a feeling of authenticity and warmth. On the same wall, there is the entrance to the walk-in closet, which blends in masterfully with the wooden surface and gives the room lightness.

The master bathroom with minimal lines is embellished by the marble-effect wall, which is reflected in the large mirror.
