In the enchanting setting of the San Francisco coast in Nayarit, Mexico, stands this captivating home, a creation by architect Raúl Velázquez. Completed in 2023, this residence masterfully blends clean lines, natural materials, and a constant dialogue with the ocean, offering a living experience that merges comfort, luxury, and a deep respect for the surrounding landscape.
The challenge for architect Velázquez was clear: to create a home that would seamlessly integrate into an environment that is as rich in beauty as it is fragile. The façade, dominated by wood and local stone, appears almost as an extension of the cliff below.
Large windows and sliding glass doors not only maximise the view of the seaward horizon but also ensure a constant flood of natural light that caresses every corner of the home.
Upon entering, one is struck by the simplicity of the spaces: a minimalism thoughtfully crafted down to the smallest detail, where every element serves a specific functional and aesthetic purpose. In the living room, neutral tones – ivory, sand, and light grey – interact with wooden finishes, while furniture with essential silhouettes leaves the surrounding view unobstructed.
Outside, the pool area functions as a private oasis, surrounded by tropical plants and comfortable sun loungers. Next to it, a terrace furnished with contemporary design pieces invites you to enjoy moments of outdoor conviviality, accompanied by the sound of the waves and the scent of the sea.
Thanks to the vision of architect Raúl Velázquez and the talent of Rosa Soto in interior design, this residence becomes the ideal place to live, where the senses can perceive and enjoy the intense and continuous dialogue between human beings and the regenerative force of the ocean.
