“We create a place dedicated to silence, to hear better. We offer you a temple of peace, to take refuge whenever you feel the need. We create a shelter where you can spend quality time. Are you ready for an extraordinary experience?”

What Sensoria Dolomites is today stems from a family history and from the love that the members have for their land and for hospitality.
It all started with the parents, Leo, the father, and Hanny, the mother, respectively the cook and the receptionist who rented the former Ritterhof, then purchased in 1994.
With great enthusiasm, in 2000, they started a major renovation, during which the 15 existing rooms increased to 28.
A special project for the new owners, who soon distanced themselves from the conventional concept of Star rating, rather applying very highquality standards to all areas of the hotel.
Over the years, also the four children – Michael, Marc, Lukas, and Lea – had the opportunity to contribute to the hotel’s successful story, leaving their mark…

But it was Lea who continued the dream of this dynamic family; after ten years of travels to Vienna, Milan, Singapore, Edinburgh, and Paris, she has understood what her true calling was.
The bond with her land had always been strong, and when in 2014 her parents announced that they wanted to pass the baton to the new generation, among the four children, she decided to take the reins of the hotel.
Since 2020, Lea has been leading this business with passion, together with her husband Simon. She stated: “Here, we have created an inspiring place, in our land, where our team – made up of hoteliers in the soul – can fully express themselves.
”A timeless soul tied to the roots, expressed by the fresh and modern shapes of the hotel’s architecture, which stands out against a background of tranquillity and peace, surrounded by nature, with lots of colours that vary according to the seasons, creating evocative and intense landscapes.

The choice of materials was inspired by the Castelvecchio forest and the mighty Schlern.
The heart of the accommodation is the set of pavilionshaped wooden buildings located on the ground floor, marked by natural shapes and lines with green roofs, in order to dissolve the boundaries between building and landscape.
The accommodation is inspired by the style of architect Kengo Kuma, with a lot of glass, as well as Norway spruce wood which, as the owners point out, “fits our hotel like a glove”, to make everything more harmonious and functional.
The rooms are elegant and refined, to satisfy all tastes and make your stay an unforgettable experience.
An incredible wellness area has been designed to delight the spirit and the senses with pleasant dives in the suggestive outdoor and indoor swimming pool.

Furthermore, Lea takes care of the olfactory experience with a careful selection of scents, for a delightful journey through several fragrances.
Then, there is a wide range of culinary pleasures since the “market of taste” at Sensoria Dolomites is full of local delicacies, selected with love.
There is also no shortage of “secret spots” to be discovered through the several hiking trails: Seiser Alm, ageold Dolomites, ancient ruins, places of worship, museums, and chapels.
Lea and Simon, the owners, are deeply attached to these childhood locations and memories, which will also excite all the welcome guests of Sensoria Dolomites!
