Un attico contemporaneo con vista panoramica sul porto; uno spazio decisamente glamour, contaminato da una sensuale eleganza.

Elizabeth Bay, Sydney. Palme che ondeggiano sinuose al vento, un’ordinata cortina di barche a vela e l’immensità dell’oceano… questo è ciò che caratterizza il panorama di Elizabeth Bay.

Un orizzonte sospeso tra acqua e aria, visibile oltre la grande terrazza di questo attico che con eleganza si inchina alla composta frenesia del porto di Sydney. Questa spettacolare abitazione rappresenta l’essenza dell’eleganza, con le sue linee sofisticate ma contestualmente semplici, che denotano una creatività moderna e moderata, capace di infondere agli ambienti interni un’atmosfera delicata ed informale.

La chiave della bellezza è nascosta nei tratti composti che definiscono questo attico, dove il nero assoluto delle pareti e i pregiati tessili d’arredo conferiscono una sensuale profondità allo spazio.

La texture impalpabile ed il colore cupo delle tende agitate dal vento dell’oceano contribuiscono a “raccogliere” l’ambiente che diviene intimo e avvolgente. Gli arredi contemporanei – prevalentemente black – sono impreziositi da accessori inediti, che cooperano a rendere eccezionale, oltre che straordinario, l’interior design che porta la firma di Les Interieurs by Pamela Makin (Sydney – Australia).

L’arte della messa in scena trasforma lo spazio domestico in un palcoscenico dove non manca il “coup de théâtre”: una lampada da cinema sovradimensionata, artefatti tribali, pelli di volpe, design industriale e preziosi decori in foglia d’oro. Elementi apparentemente contrastanti dove è palese la contaminazione tra oggetti che appartengono a mondi diversi ma che conferiscono all’insieme una personalità decisa ed enigmatica.

Tra luce e ombra si scorge un living “en plein air”, che dopo il tramonto si lascia piacevolmente avvolgere dalla brezza marina e dal delicato ticchettio ondeggiante degli alberi che sorreggono le placide vele delle barche ormeggiate nel porto.

A contemporary penthouse with a panoramic view on Port Sidney; a quite glamour space, tainted by a sensual grace.

Palm trees sinuously wave in the breeze, an organized barrier of sailboats and the immensity of the ocean… that’s what typifies Elizabeth Bay’s landscape.

A skyline hanging between water and air, visible beyond the large terrace of this penthouse that elegantly bows down before the calm frenzy of Port Sidney. This spectacular house represents the spirit of elegance with its sophisticated but contextually simple lines that indicate a modern and measured creativity, able to instill a delicate and casual atmosphere in all spaces.

The key to beauty is hidden among the discipline traits that define this penthouse, where the absolute black of walls and precious textiles give a sensual depth to the space. The weightless texture and the dark colour of curtains troubled by the wind coming from the ocean contribute to “concentrate” the environment that becomes embracing and heartfelt.

Contemporary pieces of furniture – mainly black ones – are embellished with unknown accessories that collaborate to make the extraordinary interior design – signed by Les Interieurs by Pamela Makin from Sidney, Australia – even more special. The art of acting turns the domestic space into a stage where the “coup de théâtre” does not lack: an oversized cinema lamp, tribal artifacts, fox skins, industrial design and precious decorations in gold leaf.

At first glance, these elements are contrasting and the contamination between items from different worlds is obvious but they also give a confident and mysterious attitude to the whole. An open-air living room can be seen between light and shadow, after the sunset is agreeably shrouded in the sea breeze and wrapped in the delicate and heaving tickling of masts that support the calm sails of the boats berthed in the port.
