Si chiama H60 il nuovo modello di Hylas Yachts firmato da Germán Frers e dallo studio italiano Hot Lab, autore del design interno.
Ha collaborato con Germán Frers per oltre 40 anni e si è costruito una reputazione per i suoi modelli che combinano navigazione oceanica, linee senza tempo e interni rifiniti con grande cura.
H60 sta conquistando nuovi mercati, grazie alle sue caratteristiche marine, abbracciando alcune esigenze contemporanee di chi vuole navigare comodamente in crociera.
Gli estimatori di lunga data di Hylas non resteranno delusi da questo nuovo 60 piedi.
Costruito utilizzando le più avanzate tecnologie, l’H60 è stato progettato per eccellere in tutte le condizioni di mare.
“Il suo stile generale è senza tempo e ci aspettiamo che questo nuovo modello abbia una lunga vita sul mercato” afferma il designer Germán Frers.
“Avevamo bisogno di realizzare una barca in grado di attraversare l’Oceano in comodità” spiega Kevin Wensley, responsabile vendite di Hylas Yacht.
“Non un racer, ma un mezzo capace di performance molto buone e, soprattutto, semplice da condurre:
questo perché crediamo che anche le performance siano un segno di comodità, specialmente quando si fanno lunghe navigazioni.
Abbiamo pensato a Frers che è uno specialista nel mondo delle barche da crociere “lunghe”.
Non doveva essere una barca per un velista super tecnico, ma per velisti che amano viaggiare a lungo e vogliono farlo navigando bene, anche velocemente”.
Una scelta particolare quella del pozzetto, che è diviso in due zone: una riservata alle manovre e alle due ruote del timone e una destinata alla parte “social” con il tavolo centrale e le due panche.
Il cantiere ha collaborato con lo studio milanese Hot Lab, noto per i suoi design eleganti dei superyacht, per offrire interni che portino immediatamente i nuovi Hylas a un livello ancora maggiore.
“Abbiamo lavorato a stretto contatto con il team del cantiere – afferma Enrico Lumini, partner e capo designer d’interni di Hot Lab –.
Abbiamo optato per l’uso di un legno bianco che contrastasse con elementi caldi come gli inserti in pelle.
Tutti i materiali e i dettagli si fondono in un modo incredibilmente morbido, mantenendo la sensazione tradizionale degli interni di una pura barca a vela, ma allo stesso tempo contemporaneo”.
Gli armatori possono scegliere tra layout a tre e quattro cabine.
La disposizione a tre cabine prevede una master suite a poppa che sfrutta appieno il baglio dell’H60 e la cabina Vip a prua.
A centro barca, un ampio salone con divano a forma di L con tavolo da pranzo e sgabelli è servito da un ulteriore divano a dritta.
Il layout a quattro cabine prevede invece la master a prua, usando le sezioni di poppa per una coppia di cabine doppie a specchio.

The H60 is the new model signed by Hylas Yachts that combines the exterior design created by Germán Frers with Hot Lab, an Italian studio that managed the interior design.
Hylas Yachts has collaborated with Germán Frers for over 40 years and has built a reputation combining ocean sailing capability, timeless lines and exquisitely finished interiors.
Nowadays, the Taiwan-based shipyard is spreading on new market segments with the H60:
able to maintain high-level yacht features but simultaneously satisfying the contemporary needs of those who want to cruise comfortably.
Long-time Hylas’ fans will not be disappointed by her performance.
Built using the most advanced construction technologies, the H60 has been designed to stand out in all conditions with excellent seakeeping ability.
“Her overall style is timeless, and we expect this new model to have a long and successful life in the market,” said Germán Frers.
“We needed to create a yacht able to cross the ocean, easily and comfortably. We thought about Germán Frers, who is highly skilled in cruising yachts.
It didn’t have to be designed only for technical yachtsmen but also for those who love high-speed travels with good sailing experiences” explained Kevin Wensley, sales director at Hylas Yachts.
The shipyard partnered with the Milan-based company Hot Lab, known for its elegant designs in the superyacht industry, in order to offer interiors that took this new Hylas to another level.
“We worked very closely with the shipyard’s team,” said Enrico Lumini, partner and interior chief designer at Hot Lab.
“This is how we ended up with whitish wood in contrast with the warm leather elements.
All materials and details are mixed in an incredibly soft way, preserving the traditional feeling of pure sailing yacht interiors but being contemporary at the same time.”
Owners can choose between three-stateroom and fourstateroom layouts.
The three-stateroom layout places the master suite aft with a large berth on centerline; a VIP stateroom with a queen-size berth is forward.
Amidships, there is a large salon area with an L-shaped settee, in addition to a dining table and stools.
The four-stateroom layout boasts the master suite together with a pair of mirrored double staterooms in the aft sections.
