Iconia: living the future

Iconia Rimini means exclusivity, privacy and green architecture.

We are talking about ahousing conceptinspired by the future, whose contemporary and eco-friendly architectural language results in essence and exclusivity.

In this project, nature becomes an organic building material, not only reducing air pollution and promotingbiodiversity, but also ensuring greater oxygen, privacy, and intimacy to each residence.

All features that will shortly make Iconia a new symbol of the city, redesigned according to an intimate elegance that respects nature.

The complex is located in a central and highly prestigious area of the city of Rimini, connected to the network of cycle paths that leads to the sea and the city centre.

The new Iconia complex – in Via Ugo Bassi – involves the construction of 50 residential units divided into three main buildings, each covering four floors above ground, with a basement that houses the garag Conceived by the Rimini-based design studio AxE Group for Gruppo Industrie Edili Holding S.P.A, and supervised by the art director Nicola Fabris,Iconiapresents a real estate offer designed to meet the current housing needs.

Large gardens and terraces mark each housing unit, ensuring the highest functionality. High-quality indoor and outdoor spaces alternate respectively, as if competing with each other in a game of balance between solids and voids.

To filter the view on the outside, the terraces host vast perimeter pools that allow for an unimpeded growth of the inserted vegetation.

Trees, shrubs, and plants thus enrich the balconies, making the architecture of the buildings blend perfectly with the green context that surrounds them. The vertical metal profiles that mark the top floor act as solar screens, resulting in a significant reduction of solar radiation.

Beyond a high level of comfort, these elements add great exclusivity to Iconia. The matte surfaces in concrete grey are the highly-tactile element of the project; they contrast with the remarkable sophistication and elegance of the metal profiles, thus creating a perfect balance.

All Iconia’s units are built accordingly to the principles of sustainable and efficient construction, a method that allows the creation of high-performance building envelopes, capable of making the most of renewable sources for energy supply.
