Una solida costruzione in acciaio e alluminio dall’impressionante autonomia. Ecco le chiavi del successo del superyacht compatto RPH di 31 metri realizzato dal cantiere turco Alia Yachts.

Alia Yachts è stata fondata nel 2008 da Gökhan Çelik insieme al suo socio in affari Ömer Koray. Lo stabilimento è attrezzato per la costruzione di yacht d’avanguardia in materiale composito in fibra di carbonio rinforzata, acciaio e alluminio.
Virgen Del Mar VI è la decima unità di una flotta che spazia su modelli dai 24,5 ai 60 metri di lunghezza. «Ci sono molti yacht di 30 metri, ma la maggior parte di questi sono prodotti in serie e nessuno offre esattamente lo stesso volume, livello di personalizzazione o dettagli di design creati su misura» ha dichiarato il presidente di Alia, Gökhan Çelik.
Sul mercato non esiste niente di simile con le stesse dimensioni. Caratterizzata da forti linee esterne realizzate dallo studio olandese Omega Architects e da interni sofisticati curati dalla inglese Redman Whiteley Dixon, Virgen Del Mar VI offre a poppa del main deck ampie aree esterne pranzo, lounge e prendisole, mentre dietro la plancia rialzata completamente integrata nella struttura, il fly deck offre ulteriori 50 metri quadrati di spazi esterni panoramici.
L’interior design, basato su una gamma di colori che impiega quercia chiara e platano scuro arricchita da dettagli di bronzo realizzati a mano, è innovativo e arioso. Nel complesso la tonalità scelta dona all’ambiente un’eleganza informale, con luce naturale e riflessi d’acqua conferiti dalle finestre arrotondate a tutta altezza.
La suite armatoriale da 22,5 metri quadrati al main deck è dotata di due porte a vetri su ogni lato che consentono l’accesso alla terrazza privata a prua, mentre le sagome dei bastioni a prua e a poppa offrono un’accresciuta vista sul mare nel salone principale e nella suite armatoriale. Il lower deck accoglie le sistemazioni per gli ospiti, che prevedono due cabine matrimoniali e due doppie.
Alia Yachts ha puntato su unità custom, ma Gökhan Çelik fa notare che l’entusiasmo con cui armatore e broker hanno accolto Virgen Del Mar VI ha convinto il cantiere a considerare la produzione di una mini serie.
«La costruzione di Virgen Del Mar VI è iniziata come progetto unico, ma abbiamo lettere di intenti per costruire ulteriori quattro unità con interni completamente personalizzabili. Stiamo poi progettando una versione di 37 metri e una di 50 sviluppate sulla stessa piattaforma» ha dichiarato.

Alia Yachts was founded in 2008 by Gökhan Çelik, together with his business partner Ömer Koray. Its purpose-built facilities are equipped for cutting-edge yacht construction in carbon-reinforced composites, steel, and aluminium. Virgen del Mar VI is the shipyard’s 10th delivery in a fleet ranging in size from 24.5 to 60 metres.
“There are plenty of 30-metre yachts out there, but most are production boats and none of them offer quite the same volume and degree of customization or bespoke design features” says Alia President Gökhan Çelik. “There’s nothing quite like her in her size on the market.”
Distinguished by a strong exterior styling built by the Dutch design studios Omega Architects and marked by a sophisticated interior design by RWD, Virgen del Mar offers you aft a perfect area to enjoy long summer days and evenings is the comfortable widebody sun deck on the flybridge with large dining and lounge areas. The interior design is based on a palette of light oak and muted colours that have been architecturally ‘lifted’ by hand-made dark bronze accent details. State-of-the-art and airy.
These selected colours give the space a more weathered and informal appearance, with natural light and water reflections thanks to full-height windows. The full beam owner’s suite – 22.5 square metres – also features two full-height windows on each side offering private access to the companionways and lounge area on the foredeck; in the main salon and in the owner’s suite, these windows provide unimpeded views through the glass cutaways in the bulwarks.
The lower deck includes guest rooms with two double and two single cabins. Alia Yachts has focused on custom production but Virgen del Mar VI’s enthusiastic reception by owners and brokers has convinced the shipyard to expand the technical platform into a semi-custom series.
“Virgen Del Mar VI started as a one-off project, but we have great interest to build further units with fully customizable interiors” says Gökhan Çelik. “We’re also developing a 37-metre and 50-metre version based on the same platform”
